The Science of Psychotherapy in collaboration with Richard Hill are embarking on a documentary series “The Science of You”.

We are producing that series.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are incredibly complex, actually the most complex thing we know about is our brain, or rather our entire nervous system.

The Science of You is a documentary series that sets out to explore the incredible complexities of people from a neuroscience perspective.

 

Richard Hill, with his background in both acting and neuroscience, was the perfect person to both co-write, produce and narrate this documentary.

In the pilot episode we have Richard introducing us to a number of concepts that will be expanded in later episodes and he gives us a case study demonstration of a few therapeutic techniques and the science behind them.

 

 

“We are not “in” the river, we “are” the river.”

 

Shot over 2 days this pilot is in production as the first in a series that will take the audience on a journey around the world with many experts talking about the incredible complexity of people individually and in community.

With a minimal budget we were able to exploit natural settings, focus on the story, and keep costs to a minimum while still providing great production value. 

 

 

 

The Value of the Documentary

Documentaries are just an extension of what we do for brand awareness – telling great stories – Albeit on a much larger canvas.

If you have an important topic that you would like to feature on a bigger canvas than just a 2 or 3 minute brand awareness video, then talk to us about doing a documentary.

Documentaries get people’s attention in a much deeper way than advertising typically does. The audience is drawn into a compelling story, a story where your brand, ideals, people, are the hero or the guide or mentor. It can be a powerful communication tool if done in a cinematic and entertaining way.
